Job summary

MA & Partners LLC is seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to shape the financial strategy and oversee accounting, FP&A, treasury, and risk management for a fast-growing forex trading firm with a global footprint.

The role requires deep FX markets expertise, a proven track record in navigating European regulatory regimes, and strong leadership to drive performance, cost efficiency, and digital transformation across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of senior finance experience, including at least 5 years in a CFO, VP Finance, or Financial Director role.
• Strong experience in FX / brokerage / online trading industry.
• European experience is mandatory (ideally with exposure to European regulatory bodies and financial practices).
• Proven track record in navigating complex regulatory environments within financial markets.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on expertise in financial modeling, risk, and liquidity management.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full spectrum of finance functions: accounting, FP&A, treasury, and risk.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation.
• Ensure compliance with global and regional financial regulations, especially FCA, CySEC, ESMA, and other European frameworks.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to improve performance, profitability, and cost efficiency.
• Present financial insights, forecasts, and reports to the Board and senior management.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, regulators, and external partners.
• Lead M&A due diligence, investment analysis, and capital raise initiatives.
• Support the business with risk management and liquidity planning (incl. margin, leverage, and cash-flow focus).
• Drive automation and digital transformation within the finance function to enhance reporting and controls.
• Guide, mentor, and build a high-performing finance team.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s financial strategy, performance, and growth.
