You will shape pricing, margins, and investor communications, acting as a key liaison to the investor community and board.

Qualifications

• Led international M&A across multiple jurisdictions.
• 15-20 years of senior financial leadership in high-growth SaaS/tech.
• CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent with IFRS experience.
• VC/PE investor relations experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with growth goals, managing cash flow and long-term planning.
• Lead FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis with ownership of board reporting and presentations.
• Build and maintain relationships with venture capital, private equity and other investment partners.
• Lead end-to-end M&A activity, including due diligence and management of advisers and counter parties.
• Prepare the business for investor scrutiny, including data room readiness and financial diligence.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to optimise pricing, margin and ARR growth.
• Implement robust financial controls and drive profitability through operational efficiency.

Job description

Our client is a fast-growing, VC-backed SaaS technology company headquartered in Dubai. With a team of 200+ across more than 20 nationalities and 10+ countries, they are a genuinely global, multicultural business at an exciting stage of growth. They are now looking for a dynamic, hands-on CFO to lead their financial operations and help shape the next phase of the company's journey.

This business has been growing 20-25% year on year for the past 3 years.

The Role

As CFO, you will be the right-hand person to the CEO, providing strategic financial direction while remaining close to the detail. You will partner with sales, marketing and product to shape pricing, margin and growth decisions, not just report on them after the fact, and you will be the company's primary point of contact for its investor community.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategy aligned with the company's growth goals, managing cash flow and long-term financial planning
• Lead FP&A, forecasting, budgeting and variance analysis, with ownership of board reporting and presentations
• Build and maintain relationships with venture capital, private equity and other investment partners
• Lead M&A activity end to end, including due diligence and management of advisers, counsel and counterparties
• Prepare the business for investor scrutiny, including data room readiness and financial diligence
• Collaborate with commercial teams to optimise pricing, margin and ARR growth
• Implement robust financial controls and drive profitability through operational efficiency

Requirements

• Proven track record of personally leading international M&A transactions across multiple jurisdictions
• SME / start-up tech experience highly preferred. Someone from a large tech business may not fit into this entrepreneurial environment
• Strong preference for someone with established relationships within the VC and private equity investor community, ideally in technology
• 15-20 years of progressive senior financial leadership, ideally in a high-growth SaaS or technology business
• Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, P&L management and commercial finance
• A recognised accounting/finance qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with IFRS experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to boards and senior stakeholders
• High degree of integrity, professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality
