HR Leader | Expertise in Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, and HR Process Optimization

As part of its expansion strategy, Mai Dubai is scaling operations to meet rising demand both within the UAE and across key export markets. This includes expanding production capacity, strengthening supply chain networks, and driving commercial growth through new product lines and regional partnerships. With a strong focus on operational efficiency, digital transformation, and sustainable practices, the company is positioning itself as a major player in the global bottled water industry.

To support this ambitious growth plan, Mai Dubai has initiated the creation of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) role. This strategic leadership position is essential for managing the increasing complexity of financial operations, investment planning, procurement, and digital enablement. The CFO will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company’s financial resilience, overseeing cost optimization, and driving long-term value creation as Mai Dubai scales to its next phase of growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this strategic leadership role, the CFO will oversee the financial planning, reporting, investment evaluation, and governance functions, with a strong focus on integrating operational finance across manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial operations. The CFO will be responsible for developing and monitoring financial strategies that align with the company’s corporate goals, leading the budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management processes, and optimizing working capital and capital structures. They will also manage M&A financial evaluations, oversee post-investment integration, and ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting to the Board of Directors, while providing financial leadership across plant operations and supply chain activities.

As a key business partner, the CFO will serve as a strategic advisor to the commercial, supply chain, and manufacturing teams, supporting go-to-market strategies, pricing decisions, and profitability improvements. This includes leading efforts to optimize revenue assurance, trade spend, and channel profitability, while ensuring that operational finance processes are fully embedded into commercial and supply chain strategies.

The CFO will also have executive oversight over procurement, positioning it as a strategic driver of cost savings, supply continuity, and innovation. They will lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance management, and vendor negotiations, while ensuring that procurement governance frameworks and ESG compliance are in place and fully aligned with manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate needs.

On the technology front, the CFO will champion IT and digital transformation initiatives, developing and executing strategies that support business growth. This includes overseeing ERP system performance, cybersecurity programs, and data governance, as well as leading finance automation projects such as RPA implementation, business intelligence dashboards, and digital reporting tools. The CFO will foster digital maturity and innovation across the IT function to ensure the organization is future-ready.

Additionally, the CFO will ensure strong governance, risk management, and compliance across finance, procurement, and IT functions, including managing statutory audits, internal audits, and tax compliance, maintaining enterprise risk registers, and monitoring policy adherence.

Finally, the CFO will play a critical leadership role in developing and nurturing high-performing teams across all functions, driving succession planning, talent development, and continuous learning initiatives, while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven, and ethically strong organizational culture. The CFO will embed a mindset of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the organization.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies

We seek a CA, CPA, or ACCA-qualified leader (MBA preferred) with 15+ years of senior finance experience, ideally in FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in operational finance, procurement, and IT, with hands-on knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle), BI tools (Power BI / Tableau), automation (RPA), and data governance. Multinational experience and a solid grasp of UAE / GCC financial regulations are essential; exposure to M&A, ESG frameworks, and scenario planning is a plus.

We value a strategic thinker with commercial acumen, digital fluency, strong governance and risk skills, and a proven ability to lead transformational change. High integrity, accountability, collaborative leadership, and a continuous improvement mindset are key.
