Job summary

j. awan & partners is a Dubai-based international professional services firm offering governance, risk, compliance, finance, recruitment and technology services. The Finance Director will oversee multi-year plans, cash management, and capital strategies, while guiding a growing finance team.

Responsibilities include due diligence on deals, IFRS/GCC governance, and driving profitability across the group. The role requires high-level leadership in a professional services setting and track record

Qualifications

• Must be Finance Director level or above.
• Career in professional or financial services.
• Hands-on involvement in at least one completed acquisition.

• Drive commercial discipline on utilisation, realisation and partner profitability
• Manage cash, debt, refinancing and capital raising
• Implement group financial governance aligned with IFRS and GCC requirements
• Lead, coach and grow the group finance team

Requirements

• Current or recent Finance Director level or above
• Career in professional or financial services
• Hands-on involvement in at least one completed acquisition
• Experience managing debt facilities and lender relationships
• Proven leadership of a finance team
• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA)

Preferred Qualifications

• RegTech, SaaS or technology finance experience
• GCC multi-entity, IFRS and VAT experience
• ERP and BI rollout experience (NetSuite, Xero, Power BI)
• Founder-led or high-growth business experience
