Job description

Manage the company's financial actions and overall financial health. Specifically, oversee financial planning, reporting, analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making to ensure the company's financial sustainability and growth. Play a key role in advising the CEO and board of directors on financial matters and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning and Analysis: develop and manage budgets, forecast financial performance, and analyse financial data to identify trends and opportunities

• Risk Management: identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implement strategies to minimize potential losses

• Financial Reporting and Control: oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, manage accounting operations, and ensure compliance with accounting standards

• Strategic Planning and Decision Making: collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to develop and implement the company's financial strategy, including potential mergers and acquisitions, and capital investments

• Leadership and Team Management: lead and develop the finance team, providing guidance and mentorship, and fostering a culture of high performance and accountability

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' of experience in financial leadership positions in large diversified businesses in the UAE
• CPA or MBA preferred but not required
