Job summary

A leading company in the Ajman Emirate is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to define and implement financial strategy, manage budgets and forecasts, and oversee financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have extensive finance experience, strong leadership capabilities, and will be responsible for guiding the organization towards sustainable growth and compliance with financial standards.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in senior roles.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards (IFRS / GAAP) and local tax laws.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s overall financial strategy in line with its long-term goals.
• Advise the CEO and leadership team using financial insights and forecasts .
• Manage budgets , financial forecasting , cash flow , and capital investment planning .
• Lead the preparation and presentation of financial statements and performance reports.
• Ensure full compliance with local and international financial laws and standards .
• Liaise with external auditors , banks , investors , and regulatory authorities .
• Identify and manage financial and operational risks , including insurance and internal controls .
• Oversee tax planning , treasury operations , financial reporting , and cost management .
• Continuously improve financial processes and promote cost-efficiency across the business.
• Lead , mentor , and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability .
• Support M&A activities , funding , and investment opportunities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance , Accounting , or Economics ( MBA / CPA / CA / CMA preferred ).
• 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience , including at least 5 years in senior roles .
• Strong expertise in financial planning , budgeting , cost control , and risk management .
• Solid understanding of accounting standards ( IFRS / GAAP ) and local tax laws .
• Experience with ERP systems and financial digital transformation is an added advantage.
• Excellent leadership , analytical , and communication skills.
• High levels of ethics , integrity , and professionalism .
