Our client, a leading international commodity trading company based in Dubai, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its strategic growth. Specializing in the global trade of coal, iron ore, ferroalloys, metallurgical coke , and logistics & supply chain management , the company operates in key global markets and is poised for expansion.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to enhance market positioning.
• Oversee trading, logistics, finance, and risk management operations.
• Expand market reach by fostering strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders .
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Manage financial flows and optimize trading performance.
• Lead, develop, and grow the team, attracting top talent to the organization.

Key Requirements :

• 5+ years of executive leadership experience in commodity trading , preferably in coal or related sectors .
• Strong understanding of global commodity markets, logistics, and risk management .
• Proven ability to drive business growth, financial performance, and operational excellence .
• Fluency in Russian and English (additional languages are a plus).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, International Trade, or related fields .
• Willingness to travel as needed .
