Job Overview
The Chief Engineer Rail Network Inspection will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive inspection programs that ensure the integrity and safety of RTA s railway infrastructure. The role includes handling emergency situations, delivering technical training, and driving innovation in inspection and maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage rail network inspection programs in accordance with international safety standards
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of railway infrastructure within the Railway Protection Zone
- Coordinate emergency responses and implement corrective actions to resolve urgent issues
- Deliver technical training sessions for inspection teams and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and internal safety protocols
- Introduce modern inspection technologies and methods to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, and external stakeholders to maintain railway safety
- Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on infrastructure conditions

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related disciplines)
