Job summary
The Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai seeks a senior professional to lead policy development for Right-of-Way occupancy, inspections, and cross-agency MOUs, combining regulatory insight with field operations.
You will oversee field inspection campaigns, optimize staff rosters, supervise clearance certificates, and drive process improvements using KPI-driven analyses and AI-enabled monitoring, ensuring compliance across Dubai's road network.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in civil engineering or Master's in transportation engineering.
- 5+ years with a master's (7+ with a bachelor's) in a related field.
- Experience coordinating with agencies and auditors on ROW inspections.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate policies for Right-of-Way occupation and encroachment.
- Lead AI-powered violation detection and monitoring initiatives.
- Draft MOUs with government entities.
- Execute and monitor field inspection campaigns and address violations.
- Allocate inspection areas and revise staff rosters.
- Supervise issuance of final clearance certificates.
- Review inspection reports and escalate major breaches.
- Attend and coordinate emergency inspection responses 24/7.
- Coordinate with agencies to monitor rainwater drainage and safety.
