- Oversee maintenance and upgrades of equipment and facilities to maximize operational efficiency and reliability.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets for engineering projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial targets.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align engineering initiatives with organizational goals and customer needs.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential engineering challenges.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating relevant advancements into engineering practices.
- Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices to enhance product quality and performance.
- Drive sustainability initiatives within engineering processes, promoting environmentally responsible practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related fields) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive engineering experience in a relevant hospitality industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification demonstrating expertise and commitment to the field.
- Proven experience managing large-scale engineering projects, showcasing ability to deliver on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards relevant to engineering practices in the industry.
- Demonstrated technical skills in project management software, CAD tools, and engineering simulation software.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with a history of fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing engineering challenges.
- Physical ability to navigate job sites and participate in on-site inspections and evaluations.
