Job summary

myZoi, a SC Ventures fintech startup, seeks a senior CFCC leader to drive regulatory risk controls across banking activities and digital assets. You will shape governance models, oversee CFCC frameworks, and lead the CFCC team in alignment with the MLRO and Data Protection Officer.

Key responsibilities include managing regulatory relationships, providing regulatory interpretation, and ensuring competency and resourcing for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Over 13 years of hands-on experience in financial crime, compliance, and regulatory risk management.
• Strong understanding of the financial services sector and digital environment regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in CFCC risk management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Strong writing and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive CFCC considerations across business activities including retail banking, corporate banking, strategic investment, data strategy, and digital assets
• Support the adoption of governance models across regulated entities and oversee CFCC frameworks
• Manage the CFCC relationship with SCV and the Board through the Executive Risk Committee
• Lead the CFCC team and support the Data Protection Officer in implementing data management and privacy frameworks
• Support the MLRO in delivering the financial crime risk framework, covering AML, CTF, Sanctions, and ABC
• Manage regulatory relationships, including inspections and identification of regulatory reform initiatives
• Provide advice to stakeholders on the interpretation of regulatory expectations, laws, and best practices
• Lead and develop the CFCC team, ensuring competency and adequate resourcing
