Our client, a leading shipbuilding company based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Commercial Officer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the commercial operations of a new shipbuilding project and contribute to the growth and success of the company.

As the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the new shipbuilding project. You will work closely with the senior management team and other key stakeholders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on time.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and implement the commercial strategy for the new shipbuilding project

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both locally and internationally

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential risks and opportunities

- Provide guidance and support to the sales team in developing and closing deals

- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and on time

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to promote the company's services and capabilities

- Monitor and analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvement

- Lead and motivate the commercial team to achieve targets and objectives

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the shipbuilding industry

- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategies

- Strong negotiation and contract management skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Knowledge of the shipbuilding industry and market trends

- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
