Job summary

Roads and Transport Authority in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned governance professional to lead technology-quality governance. You will craft standards, drive audit programs, and steer maturity improvements across RTA’s applications and channels.

The role focuses on regulatory compliance, KPI visibility, and collaboration with sectors, vendors and audit teams to ensure timely remediation within SLAs. Full-time in Dubai, UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Transport Planning, or Data Analytics.
• 5+ years in related area with Bachelor’s degree; 3+ years with Master’s degree.
• Familiar with ISO, ITIL, COBIT and related governance standards; CGEIT, ISO 37000, 21505 awareness.
• Experience delivering governance policies, audits, reports and KPI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Establish technology-quality policies, frameworks and KPIs aligned with governance, risk, and compliance mandates.
• Schedule and run internal and external quality audits, retain evidence and brief leadership.
• Monitor adherence from development to retirement, issue compliance reports and follow-up actions.
• Provide expert consultation to sectors, vendors, and audit teams; coordinate rapid resolutions within SLAs.
• Deliver training and workshops to expand internal-auditor capability.

Drive enterprise-wide technology-quality governance by crafting rigorous standards, leading comprehensive audit programs and steering maturity improvements. Safeguard regulatory compliance and elevate digital-service excellence across RTA’s applications and channels.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategy

• Establish technology-quality policies, frameworks and KPIs, aligning digital systems with RTA governance, risk, and compliance mandates.
• Prioritize corrective-action roadmaps and budget needs based on governance-maturity assessments and stakeholder objectives.

Operations

• Schedule and run internal and external quality audits, retaining evidence and briefing leadership through formal management-review meetings.
• Monitor Application Governance Framework adherence from development to retirement, issuing periodic compliance reports and follow-up actions.
• Maintain quality-information systems, dashboards, and statutory reports to ensure timely, accurate KPI visibility.
• Provide expert consultation to sectors, vendors, and audit teams, classifying issues and coordinating rapid resolution within agreed SLAs.

Process Improvement

• Analyze audit trends and non-conformities, recommending process redesigns and tool enhancements that boost system efficiency and user satisfaction.
• Deliver training and workshops that expand internal-auditor capability and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

Education :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Transport Planning, or Data Analytics

Experience:

3+ years in case of Master's degree; 5+ years in case of Bachelor's degree in related area

Qualifications:

ISO, ITIL, COSO, and other governance standards such as COBIT, Governance of Enterprise IT CGEIT) ISO, Business Continuity, risk or audit, TOGAF, ISO 9000, ISO Lead Auditor, Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), Guidance for the governance of organizations ISO 37000, ICA Specialist Certificate in Corporate Governance, Guidance on governance ISO 21505, Risk Management ISO 31000, IT Governance Management System ISO 38500.
