Job summary

Inflexion, a SAP Gold Partner, seeks a seasoned Chief Accountant to oversee accounting, financial reporting, and statutory compliance in Abu Dhabi. The role requires managing month‑end/year‑end closures, IFRS reporting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and robust internal controls, with hands-on SAP ERP experience.

You will mentor the finance team, coordinate with auditors and authorities, prepare management dashboards, and provide insights to support strategic growth within a fast‑paced IT

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, commerce or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum 8‑12 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3‑5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards and best practices.
• Experience handling UAE VAT, Corporate Tax compliance, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven experience in financial statement prep, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA or SAP Business One is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Lead timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Prepare and review IFRS-based financial statements and reports.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance.
• Oversee AR and AP processes and coordination with auditors.
