Job description

Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities, ensuring seamless operations.

Ensure that all financial records under your purview are maintained in compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Assist in the development and implementation of innovative financial systems and processes that enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Coordinate and complete annual audits, ensuring compliance with tax filing and regulatory requirements.

Develop and analyse budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual expenditures, driving accountability and strategic decision-making.

Manage payroll processes in the system, ensuring timely and accurate processing of salaries and leave entitlements.

Collaborate with the admin and Area Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective management of AMCs, licenses, and maintenance of assets.

Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that provide insights into net revenue losses, operating costs, and other key expenses.

Evaluate and enhance internal control systems to protect the integrity of our financial processes.

Monitor daily performance within the accounting department, ensuring all financial deadlines are met and operations run smoothly.

Liaise with other departments to develop best practices for financial management, enhancing overall profitability.

Assist in crafting and implementing strategic financial plans alongside executive leadership, aligning with our growth and profitability objectives.
