Job Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities:

1. Reviews and oversees balances with Client, Subcontractors, and Suppliers including payments in a timely manner, ensuring all approvals and disbursement of payments are in accordance with leadership approvals.
2. Support the Managing Director in budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and reporting.
3. Identifies opportunities to optimize performance and implement performance measures to reach financial goals.
4. Adept at managing the cash cycle in a construction company.
5. Leads financial analysis to assist management in the evaluation of the profitability of income streams as well as the potential for cost efficiencies.
6. Monitors revenues/expenses and ensures the accurate recording as per established guidelines.
7. Investigates and critiques variances to plan or to prior year and offer practical improvement methodologies to management.
8. Support in weekly/monthly/annual financial planning processes and external audit requirements.
9. Establishes and continually audits all internal financial controls including purchasing and cash handling.
10. Lead and coach the accounts team.
11. Book Keeping in accordance with IFRS.

1. Proficient in Excel is mandatory.
2. Have exceptionally good English communication skills both in written and verbal form.
3. Able to oversee and manage accounts team.
4. Strong in cash flow management, reporting, and closing process.
5. Willing to go the extra mile if needed during peak periods.
6. Knowledge of IFRS accounting rules.
7. Ability to make decisions in accordance with responsibilities.
8. Must be highly effective in handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines, be results and detail-oriented.
9. An analytical and strategic thinker, be a person of high integrity.
10. Have exceptionally good problem-solving skills and have an ability to remain calm and composed during times of uncertainty and stress.
