Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the financial operations including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
- Supervise and guide the accounting team in day-to-day operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Monitor cash flow, banking activities, and financial forecasting to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure timely filing of VAT, corporate tax, and other statutory financial obligations.
- Conduct financial audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and suggest corrective actions.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls to enhance efficiency and minimize risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies for compliance matters.
- Support management with financial planning, cost control, and investment strategies.
- Stay updated with local and international financial regulations and ensure adherence to best accounting practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
- 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the UAE.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or Tally.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to handle multiple financial tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with management, auditors, and external stakeholders.
