Vacancy for: Cosmetic chemist

Location: United Arab Emirates - Ajman

We are seeking a creative and ambitious Cosmetic Chemist to join a small beauty company based in Dubai, specializing in the production of natural and organic skin and hair care products.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and manufacture a wide range of cosmetic and personal care products from scratch, including:
• Face and body creams
• Skin serums
• Hair care products (oils, masks, shampoos, conditioners)
• Natural oils and aromatic blends
• Body and face scrubs
• Facial cleansers
• Sunscreens
• Lip balms
• Natural deodorants
• Liquid and solid natural soaps
• Conduct research and studies to develop and enhance formulas
• Innovate new formulations in line with the latest trends and scientific findings
• Ensure product compliance with local and international regulations for natural and organic products
• Help with filling, sealing and packaging

Qualifications / Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing cosmetic, skin, and hair care products
• Strong English level writing and speaking
• Strong ability to create formulations from scratch and develop high-quality products
• In-depth knowledge of the laws and regulations related to the approval of natural and organic cosmetic products, issued by: Cosmos / Ecocert / USDA Organic (for international organic certifications, if required)
