Chemist

The Chemist is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses or experiments in laboratories for quality control, research, and product development. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet regulatory and safety standards, as well as innovating new formulas and compounds.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform laboratory tests to analyze chemical compounds and substances.
2. Develop and improve chemical manufacturing processes and product formulations.
3. Interpret and document test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
4. Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
5. Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, production, and quality assurance.
7. Prepare technical reports, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory documentation.
8. Troubleshoot issues related to raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field (Master's preferred for senior roles).
2. Proven experience working in a laboratory or industrial setting.
3. Strong understanding of analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC, spectroscopy, and titration.
4. Knowledge of chemical safety and handling protocols.
5. Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
6. Excellent documentation and communication skills.
7. Proficiency in using laboratory software and Microsoft Office applications.
