Job summary

Chemtive is expanding its export sales team and seeks experienced chemical sales professionals to originate and close business in Europe, LATAM, and Africa. This is a pure sales role with full ownership of accounts from first contact to repeat orders.

You will manage the full sales cycle, develop new buyers, and drive revenue while coordinating with sourcing and logistics to deliver on price and lead times.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B chemical sales or trading experience.
• Direct chemical sales experience in your target region.
• Knowledge of EU REACH compliance (essential for EU position).
• Experience handling DG exports including IMDG, SDS and documentation.
• Existing network of chemical buyers in your target region.
• Fluent business English; Spanish/Portuguese (LATAM) and French (Africa) advantageous.
• Based in the UAE or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are hiring experienced chemical sales professionals to originate and close export business in their assigned region. This is a pure sales role: prospecting, negotiating and closing, with full ownership of your accounts from first contact to repeat orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and win new chemical buyers in your assigned region
• Manage the full sales cycle: enquiry, quotation, negotiation, contract and repeat business
• Build long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors and end users
• Coordinate with sourcing and logistics teams to deliver on price, lead time and documentation
• Track market pricing and demand to spot opportunities
• Meet monthly and annual revenue and margin targets

Must-Have Requirements

• 5+ years of B2B chemical sales or trading experience, with a proven export track record
• Direct chemical sales experience in the region you are applying for
• Working knowledge of EU REACH compliance (essential for the EU position, required for all)
• Proven experience handling dangerous goods (DG) exports, including IMDG classification, SDS and documentation
• An existing network of chemical buyers in your target region
• Fluent business English; Spanish or Portuguese (LATAM) and French (Africa) are strong advantages
• Based in the UAE, or able to relocate
