Technical Sales Manager - Chemicals

Work Location: Dubai based with 25% frequent business travel around the GCC region.

Salary Package: AED 22K to 27K per month (total cash lump sum inclusive of Basic Salary, Housing Allowance, Transport Allowance, Flights Allowance) + Extras: Family Medical Insurance + Family Visa + Bonus (15% of annual basic salary, performance-based).

Sector: Chemical, petrochemical, downstream, oil & gas.

About the Opportunity

A leading manufacturing company specialized in chemicals sold to gas processing plants and refineries within the oil & gas and petrochemical sectors globally.

They seek a motivated, technically competent Operations Engineer, Process Engineer, Chemical Engineer, or Sales Engineer with a background in Chemical Engineering. The role offers a career progression in a technical (70%) and commercial (30%) sales capacity, involving customer visits to major oil & gas and petrochemical clients across the Gulf region.

Required Profile

• 3-7 years of total career experience. This is not a senior role.
• Experience as an Operations Engineer, Process Engineer, or Chemical Engineer at an EPC, operator, or chemical manufacturing company, followed by a transition into technical product sales within oil & gas, petrochemicals, or refineries.
• Middle East work experience is essential, with familiarity with clients such as Qatar Gas, Aramco, ADNOC, and other Gulf region majors.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or Hindi fluency is advantageous.
• Technical knowledge of adsorbents, desiccants, molecular sieves, or silicone gels used in gas plants and petrochemical facilities is a plus.

Qualifications

Must hold a degree in Chemical Engineering.
