Identify and evaluate potential manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers based on pricing, quality, and reliability to meet client requirements, leveraging directories, online resources, and professional networks.
Identify and establish new business opportunities to maximize client potential in designated regions.
Execute and promote the company's business activities to ensure continuous development and new business opportunities.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and supporting documents such as technical and safety data sheets as required.
Request materials for committed orders.
Oversee all incoming and outgoing chemicals.
Attend pre-bid and post-bid clarification meetings with clients and manufacturers/suppliers.
Issue RFQs for the chemical division and establish supplier contacts to negotiate favorable terms and conditions per internal policies.
Review tenders, RFQs, and inquiries, and provide support to the tendering department for proposal and quotation preparation for the chemical division.
Regularly visit the chemical warehouse, interact with the warehouse and logistics team, and ensure operational efficiency as a supply chain engineer.
Assist the sales and business development manager in developing and executing sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets, including identifying key prospects, building and maintaining client relationships, and actively participating in the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
