Job summary

JobCenter in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team. You will be responsible for the preparation of meals, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and organized, and adhering to quality, presentation and cleanliness standards.

You will monitor food inventory, order supplies as needed, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while communicating effectively with colleagues and customers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen setting.
• Excellent knowledge of modern cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Good knowledge of nutrition and dietary considerations pertaining to special diets.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods while preparing meals.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and serving quality food in a timely manner. The Chef will be responsible for the preparation of meals, ensuring the kitchen is well-stocked and organized, and adhering to set standards of quality, presentation and cleanliness. They will also be responsible for monitoring food inventory levels and ordering supplies as needed. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail, good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
