Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park is looking for a dedicated Chef de Partie- McGettigan's to join their team at the hotel's Irish Pub! Located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in a sought-after residential area, minutes from mega malls, Jumeirah Beaches, top tourist attractions, parks, autodrome, and golf courses. The newly opened hotel includes 240 rooms and suites, 84 apartments, diverse F&B options, and extensive meeting and events facilities.

Your day-to-day

As Chef de Partie at McGettigan's Irish Pub, you will assist the Senior Sous Chef in directing the kitchen operations, including food prep, quality, maintenance, and inventory, ensuring standards and revenue goals are met while controlling costs.

Some of your main responsibilities include:

• Assist in managing daily kitchen activities, planning work, and setting performance goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching, and feedback to enhance team performance.
• Help oversee all functions of the Outlet Kitchen to achieve optimal profit and quality standards.
• Manage special events and food promotions.
• Ensure recipes are accurate and dishes are costed properly.
• Contribute to developing new dishes and menu offerings.

What we need from you

Ideally, you will have:

• A degree or certification in culinary arts.
• At least 2 years of experience in pub cuisine.
• Knowledge of international culinary practices and menus.
• Strong written and verbal business English skills.
