Job description

Driven to create unique home-grown food concepts that bring people together, the Independent Food Company is a UAE-based hospitality company with multiple concepts under its umbrella – SALT, Switch, Parker’s, Grind, Somewhere and Public.

We are currently hiring for a Chef De Partie to lead the culinary station in our restaurants across the UAE. The role involves preparing food, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the overall kitchen operations in collaboration with the sous and head chefs.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Setting up the kitchen prior to opening.
  2. Preparing station-specific ingredients and equipment.
  3. Cooking and plating specific dishes.
  4. Assisting with food preparation tasks such as marinating and cutting.
  5. Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen area after shifts.
  6. Storing unused items properly.
  7. Creatively plating food to enhance customer experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Culinary school qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards.
  • Passion for quality food and service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
