Position Overview

A Chef de Partie is responsible for supervising staff and ensuring high levels of food preparation to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while assisting with food cost controls.

What will I be doing?
  • Supervise staff and ensure high standards of food preparation
  • Prepare and present high-quality food
  • Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination in all work areas
  • Prepare mis-en-place for relevant menus
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to guest queries
  • Ensure quality and proper storage of foodstuffs
  • Contribute to cost control, profit margins, and departmental targets
  • Assist other departments and maintain good working relationships
  • Support training of staff in compliance with company procedures
  • Report maintenance, hygiene, and hazard issues
  • Comply with security, fire, health, and food safety regulations
  • Be environmentally conscious
What are we looking for?

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie experience
  • Valid trade cookery qualification
  • Strong coaching skills
  • Motivational abilities
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Supervisory experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently or in teams

Preferred additional capabilities include:

  • Intermediate Food Hygiene certification
