Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie specializing in Arabic cuisine to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for preparing authentic Arabic dishes maintaining highquality standards and contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Arabic dishes ensuring authenticity and quality
  • Manage a specific section of the kitchen overseeing junior staff and daily operations
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist in menu planning and development of new Arabic dishes
  • Collaborate with other chefs to maintain kitchen efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your station
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in Arabic cuisine techniques
  • Assist the ExecutiveChef and Sous Chef as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications :

  • Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum 35 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
  • Proven expertise in Arabic cuisine and Middle Eastern cooking techniques
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment operation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highvolume kitchen environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Food safety certification
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
