Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate staffing of retail sales department and raise any concerns to BM.
- Provide input on CSOs performance to the BM.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to CSOs.
- Support BM in implementing retail sales change initiatives.
- Actively sell/cross-sell asset and liability products to new and existing Classic and Advantage customers.
- Ensure retail sales performance meets KPI targets as per customer segments.
- Supervise CSO performance by participating in and leading daily retail sales team meetings.
- Attract new customers to branch through personal relations and existing customer referrals.
- Monitor CSO daily operations and provide necessary authorizations.
- Support CSOs by serving customers during peak times.
- Assign tasks fairly to staff so that no work is left pending at day end.
- Ensure that activities adhere to audit, risk, legal, and policy requirements.
- Identify staff training needs (products, systems, sales skills) and address them.
- Authorize financial and non-financial transactions.
- Ensure proper control is maintained for all unissued/undelivered credit cards, cheque books, debit cards, and PIN.
- Attend all incoming emails and provide responses within 24 hours.
- Participate in and potentially lead daily retail sales team meetings.
- Ensure all required branch reports are reviewed, signed, and retained for audit records.
- Ensure surprise checks are conducted at required intervals.
- Interact with colleagues/internal stakeholders and ensure completion of mandatory trainings.
- NPS: Ensure assigned NPS target is achieved by representing FAB values and following customer-obsessed methodology to ensure a high level of customer experience at all times with zero customer complaints.
- Role of AML/Compliance Coordinator.
- Custodian of safe deposit locker.
- Cash vault custody.
Specific Accountability:
- Work closely with BM to determine how to best achieve sales targets for Classic and Advantage customers and determine the best way to allocate targets among CSO staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 10 years relevant experience in the banking sector with at least 5 years in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in the branch network function.
