Job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our culinary team in Sharjah United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our kitchen staff you will be responsible for ensuring highquality food preparation and maintaining excellent hygiene standards.

  • To manage your Kitchen section with regard to food preparation and service according to set standards customer satisfaction and high level of sales in line with company policies and regulations
  • Responsible for guiding the Commis in the performance of their jobs in accordance to Hotel policies and procedures
  • Train and supervise junior kitchen staff providing guidance and support
  • Prepare highquality dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
  • Ensure proper food handling storage and hygiene practices are followed at all times
  • Collaborate with other chefs to create innovative menu items and specials
  • Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels for your section
  • Responsible for ensuring daily storeroom requisitions and sufficient supplies during Kitchen operation are rotated and used in a FIFO system
  • Assist in menu planning and food cost control
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Assist the Sous Chef as needed

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar culinary role
  • Vocational degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Fluency in English both verbal and written
  • Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Proficiency in food safety and hygiene standards including HACCP principles
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced highpressure environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Proactive approach to problemsolving and continuous improvement
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
