A Chef de Cuisine contributes to menu creation, manages and trains the kitchen brigade to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, and oversees food cost controls.
What will I be doing?
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to menu creation
- Managing and training the kitchen team to ensure a well-organized and motivated environment
- Maintaining consistency in dish quality
- Managing customer relations in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Managing work rotas to meet business needs
- Supporting brand standards through team training and assessment
- Controlling food costs to support revenue goals
- Understanding activities in other departments and their implications
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
