A Chef de Cuisine contributes to menu creation, manages and trains the kitchen brigade, and ensures an excellent Guest and Team Member experience while controlling food costs.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing to menu creation
  • Managing and training the kitchen team to ensure a well-organized and motivated environment
  • Ensuring consistency in dish quality
  • Managing customer relations in the absence of the Executive Chef
  • Managing resources effectively through work rotas
  • Supporting brand standards via team training and assessment
  • Controlling food costs to support F&B revenue
  • Understanding activities in other departments and their implications
  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards
What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience, with Cold Kitchen experience preferred
  • A creative approach to food
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • A commitment to high customer service standards
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • A willingness to learn

Additional advantageous qualities include the ability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
