Job description

Job Purpose:
The Chauffeur & Belldesk shift leader oversees a team (per shift) of Bell Attendants and Chauffeurs to provide exceptional customer service to guests. This involves managing daily team operations, assigning flights, quality control of Limousine services, grooming checks, ensuring prompt and efficient service, and addressing guest concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervising Staff: Oversee team activities during the shift, ensure tasks are assigned and completed effectively.
  2. Enforcing Policies and Procedures: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  3. Problem Solving: Address issues or conflicts during the shift, find solutions, and escalate when necessary.
  4. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering with the supervisor.
  5. Shift Reporting: Provide detailed reports at shift end, including incidents, achievements, and improvement areas.
  6. Communication: Act as liaison between team and supervisor, relay information and feedback promptly.
  7. Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest experiences.

Compliance-related duties:

  1. Handling Cash and Transactions: Oversee cash procedures, ensure transaction accuracy, and reconcile cash drawers.
  2. Adherence to Procedures: Follow documented organizational procedures and retain related evidence.
  3. Health and Safety: Exercise duty of care, be aware of health and safety responsibilities, and comply with organizational policies.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • On-time transportation of passengers and luggage
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Maintenance and cleanliness of equipment

Qualifications: High school diploma or official certification; UAE driving license preferred.

Experience: 2+ years in aviation ground support or hospitality industry, particularly in luggage transport procedures.

Skillset: Fluent in English; intermediate IT skills (MS Office).

Personal Skills: Strong communication, professionalism, attention to detail, problem-solving, time management, organizational, and leadership skills.
