Chartered Accountant

• Prepare and finalize Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements for our steel manufacturing units in Africa.
• Ensure compliance with local financial regulations in Africa.
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial reports for senior management.

Internal Audit & Financial Integrity:

• Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies, prevent errors, and maintain financial transparency.
• Implement robust internal controls to prevent fraud, misstatements, and compliance risks.
• Ensure books are maintained accurately and in accordance with international accounting standards.

Business Expansion & Corporate Compliance:

• Oversee company establishment, business registrations, and regulatory compliance in new African markets.
• Facilitate bank account openings, tax registrations, and obtaining necessary business licenses across multiple countries.
• Liaise with local regulatory authorities, consultants, and legal teams for smooth business expansion.

Strategic Business Evaluation & Financial Analysis:

• Analyze various business models to assess feasibility and financial viability.
• Conduct market research and financial due diligence on potential investments and expansion opportunities.
• Provide strategic insights to senior management on cost structures, pricing strategies and investment decisions.

General Accounting & Banking Operations:

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
• Ensure timely payments, bank reconciliations, and compliance with international banking regulations.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Chartered Accountant Preferred)

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial accounting, business expansion, or internal audit, preferably in the steel, manufacturing, or international business sector.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal audit, and taxation.
• Understanding of company formation, business registration, and regulatory frameworks in Africa and the UAE.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or ERP accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Business acumen to evaluate and implement various business models and financial strategies.

Added Advantage: Experience working in African markets and knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory processes.
