We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Charge Nurse to join our committed team.   • Lead and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support during shifts.
  • Assign tasks based on staff competencies and patient needs.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development.
  • Serve as a role model in clinical practice and ethical standards.

2. Clinical Oversight

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.
  • Administer medications and treatments as per established guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.

3. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily unit operations, including patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Maintain adequate staffing levels and ensure appropriate skill mix.
  • Manage unit resources, including equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Quality Assurance & Risk Management

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
  • Identify and address potential risks to patient safety.
  • Report and investigate incidents, implementing corrective actions as needed.

5. Education & Professional Development

  • Provide orientation and training to new nursing staff.
  • Facilitate continuous education opportunities to enhance clinical skills.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and support research activities.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent.
  • Licensure: Valid UAE nursing license (e.g., DOH, DHA, or MOH).
  • Experience: Typically, 35 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 12 years in a leadership or nursing supervisory role. Experience with Microsoft office and preparing reports.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are often required.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
