Channel Team Lead, Hub Delivery

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Hub Channel Team Lead, to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

1. Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager as required.
2. Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station.
3. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure every shipment meets and exceeds operational KPIs.
4. Monitor coordinator and associate performance, providing coaching as needed.
5. Partner with supporting departments to improve logistics processes and operations.
6. Communicate with delivery service providers to set expectations and raise quality standards.
7. Interview candidates for associate roles.
8. Brief and monitor the workload of all associates, ensuring administrative tasks are accurately completed.
9. Measure and monitor overall workflows and daily metrics to assist the Operations Manager with tracking, trending, and reporting on site performance.
10. Help train and mentor new Associates, providing them with the knowledge needed to succeed.
11. Follow up on and resolve process-related issues as required.
12. Be flexible to work in different shifts and do overtime when needed.
13. Work with the Operations Manager to resource the function from a personal standpoint, including training needs, absence and performance management, and continuous monitoring of department productivity.
