Job summary

AIR ONE Technics is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance engineer for base/line maintenance. You will certify line maintenance on endorsed aircraft and ensure adherence to UK CAA Part-145, maintaining logs and documentation.

Candidates must have a Part-66 licence with PW4000/CF6 ratings, Part-147 training, and 7+ years in a Part-145 context. Fluent English is essential, plus mandatory EWIS, FTS/CDCCL Level 2, and Human Factors training.

Qualifications

• Valid UK CAA Part-66 licence with PW4000 and CF6 engine ratings.
• Part-147 type training from a UK CAA approved organisation.
• Minimum 7 years in a Part-145 maintenance organisation with line maintenance.
• Degree or higher in aviation, engineering, or related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Holds QA Authorization from a previous employer.
• Mandatory EWIS, FTS/CDCCL Level 2, and Human Factors training.
• Recent experience validated by logbook signed by Quality Director within last 2 years / 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and certify line maintenance activities on endorsed aircraft and engine types
• Ensure compliance with UK CAA Part-145 regulations and company procedures
• Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety, reliability, and efficiency in maintenance operations

Desired Candidate Profile

• Licence:
  • Valid UK CAA Part-66 Licence with the following type ratings:
  • Boeing PHONE_NUMBER with PW4000 & CF6 engines
• Type Training:
  • Completed type training delivered by a UK CAA Part-147 approved organisation (or an organisation accepted by the UK CAA).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 7 years of experience within a Part-145 Maintenance Organisation, with proven competence in line maintenance.
• Education:
  • College degree or higher (or equivalent qualification) in aviation, engineering, or related field.
• Language:
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Previous Authorization:
  • Holder of QA Authorization (Support Staff or Certifying Staff) from a previous employer.
• Mandatory Training:
  • Electrical Wiring Interconnection System (EWIS)
  • Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) / Critical Design Configuration Control Limitations (CDCCL) Level 2
  • Human Factors
• Recent Experience Validation:
  • Logbook signed by the Quality Director of the candidate s current or previous employer, confirming relevant experience within the last 2 years / 6 months.
