Job summary

INOTEQS Oil AND Gas Equipment Maintenance Services LLC is seeking an experienced Welder for workshop and project site work in Abu Dhabi. The role requires fabrication, welding and maintenance tasks per drawings and WPS.

The ideal candidate holds valid welder qualifications for TIG/GTAW and Arc/SMAW, with stainless steel and carbon steel experience, able to read drawings and pass a practical welding assessment. Oil and gas exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid welder qualification certificates covering TIG/GTAW and Arc/SMAW welding.
• Practical experience in stainless steel and carbon steel welding and fabrication.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow welding procedures.
• Knowledge of welding positions, common welding defects and quality requirements.
• Industrial maintenance or oil and gas experience preferred.
• Willingness to work at the workshop and project sites.
• Must pass a practical welding assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG/GTAW and Arc/SMAW welding on various fabrication/valve/metal components comprising of various materials.
• Carry out cutting, grinding, joint preparation, fit-up and fabrication as per drawings.
• Follow approved welding procedure specifications (WPS) and ensure weld quality.
• Inspect welds visually and rectify defects as required.
• Execute fabrication, installation and repair work at the workshop and project sites.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow company safety procedures.
