Certification Engineer I – UAE Nationals Only

We have an opportunity for a Certification Engineer I – UAE Nationals Only to join us at Honeywell in Dubai.

As a Certification Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a key role in guiding the certification process for new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will develop and implement certification strategies and plans, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful certification. Staying updated with industry trends and regulations related to product certification will be crucial in this role. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and facilitate the team.

In this role, you will impact Honeywell by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining product quality, reducing time-to-market, mitigating risks, and driving continuous improvement in the certification process. Key responsibilities

1. Support quality and regulatory leader in managing the certification process for new products, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
2. Support in developing and implementing certification strategies and plans.
3. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful certification of products.
4. Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to product certification.
5. Engage with authorities such as Civil Defence (CD) and Telecommunication and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) for product compliance and approval.

Key skills and qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics - recently graduated.
2. Strong interest in product industry standards and regulations.
3. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good communication, attention to detail, and people-oriented skills.
4. Good experience in Microsoft tools and programs.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams.
