We are seeking a skilled and dependable CCTV Technician to join our technical team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of surveillance systems and associated cabling infrastructure. The ideal candidate is technically strong, safety-conscious, and a reliable team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform cable pulling (Cat6, coaxial, and fiber optic) for CCTV and network systems.
Execute data point patching in racks and patch panels.
Handle rack installation for surveillance and network equipment.
Mount and align cameras, including configuration and testing.
Respond to customer callouts for system faults or service requests.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site promptly.
Conduct fiber cable pulling, splicing, and termination (fusion or mechanical).
Work collaboratively with team members and support colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance
Knowledge of cabling standards and structured cabling practices
Technical course or certification in electronics, IT, or a related field is an advantage
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A positive, proactive attitude
