Job summary

Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a diligent CCTV Operator to safeguard guests, colleagues, and assets. You will monitor CCTV feeds, log incidents, and coordinate with Security to respond to events in a busy luxury hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in a similar role in a four- or five-star hotel, strong communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and technical proficiency with CCTV systems to ensure smooth operations in Dubai

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment continuously to identify suspicious activities, safety concerns, or security incidents.
• Maintain constant observation of designated areas and report irregularities to the Security Supervisor or Manager.
• Respond promptly to incidents observed through CCTV and coordinate with Security Officers and relevant departments.
• Review recorded CCTV footage to support investigations, guest complaints, or security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate CCTV monitoring logs, incident reports, and records with confidentiality.
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and report any faults to the appropriate department.

We are currently recruiting for a full time CCTV Operator to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a CCTV Operator, you need to ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises, guests, colleagues, and assets by continuously monitoring CCTV surveillance systems; identifying suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety concerns; maintaining accurate records; and immediately reporting incidents while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures. Your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment continuously to identify suspicious activities, safety concerns, or security incidents.
• Maintain constant observation of designated areas and report any irregularities or unusual behaviour to the Security Supervisor or Manager.
• Respond promptly to incidents observed through CCTV and coordinate with Security Officers and relevant departments when assistance is required.
• Review recorded CCTV footage when required to support investigations, accidents, guest complaints, or security-related incidents.
• Maintain accurate CCTV monitoring logs, incident reports, and records while ensuring confidentiality of all security information and footage.
• Ensure CCTV equipment is functioning properly and immediately report any technical faults or system issues to the appropriate department.

Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in CCTV surveillance systems and related software preferable.
