Job summary

RIG (Recruitment International Group) seeks an experienced QA/QC professional to lead quality assurance on a CCGT power project in the UAE. You will develop QA/QC procedures, review contractor documents and ensure compliance with PPA, EPC contracts and ISO standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive GCC project exposure, and the ability to coordinate civil, mechanical and electrical works with EPC teams to drive project quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in QA/QC with at least 5 years in CCGT Power Plants.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in QA/QC procedures per PPA/EPC and ISO standards.
• Familiar with International Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, IEEE.
• Strong leadership and team coordination with EPC contractors.
• Experience reviewing and approving quality documents and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Develop QA/QC procedures for the CCGT project as per PPA, EPC contracts and ISO standards.
• Review quality documents, MSRA, ITP and contractor procedures.
• Lead QA/QC engineers to monitor and inspect contractor works.
• Oversee civil, mechanical and electrical works per drawings and specs.
• Highlight quality issues to construction team and provide technical guidance.
• Perform other tasks for project schedule control as assigned by PM/Director.
