As a Catering Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the seamless execution of catering events, ensuring that guests experience exceptional service and delicious cuisine. You will be responsible for overseeing the operations of catering services including menu planning, staff coordination, and quality assurance. Your role will require excellent organizational and leadership skills to coordinate with both the culinary team and service staff, maintaining the highest standards of service. You will also need to manage client relationships, ensuring satisfaction from the initial consultation to the event's conclusion. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, adaptable, and capable of thriving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate all phases of catering operations, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  2. Lead and supervise the catering team to ensure efficient service delivery at events.
  3. Develop and implement catering service standards to enhance guest satisfaction.
  4. Manage menu planning in collaboration with chefs to meet client preferences and dietary needs.
  5. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all catering activities.
  6. Oversee the setup and breakdown of service areas to maintain quality standards.
  7. Manage inventory, ordering, and supplies to prevent shortages during events.
  8. Train, schedule, and evaluate catering staff to maintain a high-performing team.
  9. Ensure prompt resolution of client complaints and take appropriate corrective actions.
  10. Collaborate with sales and event planners to understand client needs and event specifications.
  11. Monitor and control catering budget to minimize costs and maximize profitability.
  12. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
