Job Summary:

The incumbent is responsible for developing and executing a private label strategy for GMG within the Everyday Goods division by managing product development, vendor relationships, and ensuring quality standards to maximize the margin. The role involves working closely with suppliers, marketing, and cross-functional teams to enhance the private label portfolio and drive net revenue growth. The incumbent will monitor market trends, manage logistics, and maintain compliance with company standards, ensuring that private label products meet consumer demands and competitive benchmarks.

Job Description:

  1. Developing and executing private label strategies, managing end-to-end product development from concept to launch, and ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  2. Manage the relationship with suppliers for packaging and design approvals, conduct market research to identify product gaps, analyze sales data, and execute continuous improvements to optimize the product range.
  3. Manage pricing, negotiate costs with vendors, and collaborate with the merchandising team to ensure optimal shelf space and visibility in stores.
  4. Oversee compliance with regulatory and quality requirements, conduct product training sessions for the sales team, and develop promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility.
