We are seeking to fill an immediate, full-time, permanent position in EMEA, Dubai, UAE.

Job Purpose:

Drive and implement local and sub-regional sourcing strategies with a strong focus on Transportation and Logistics services—including road, air, and ocean freight. Work closely with local procurement teams to identify and recommend best-in-class suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, and reliable delivery. Lead supplier negotiations at the local level to support business needs and long-term supply chain performance.

Your tasks:

1. Provide professional sourcing support for key business initiatives, supply market research/intelligence to support business decisions in investments and budgets, and establishment of local or sub-regional frame contracts. Identification of strategic sourcing opportunities and development and management of strategic suppliers is key.
2. Integrate Procurement services at sub-regional/country level for the business colleagues (divisions) in scope. Achieving greatest value contribution, benefit realization, and efficiency from all procurement activities and ensuring fulfillment of joint goals with internal business partners by meeting their demands in terms of quality, price, and service.
3. Specialize in strategic sourcing of goods and services and transportation capacities in order to reduce costs and ensure quality and supply as needed by the business/function in scope.
4. Support business with detecting the right suppliers for driving forward innovation.
5. Support with supplier risk assessment and evaluating suppliers based on sustainability KPIs.
6. Manage larger complexity of contracts and new contract types (e.g. with startups).
7. Deep understanding of the regional business as well as market trends of the specific categories.

Your profile:

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally with a focus on Transportation and Logistics services—including road, air, or ocean freight. While experience in aviation procurement is a strong advantage, candidates with other relevant backgrounds will also be considered.
2. Solid understanding of the Transportation industry, both within and beyond DPDHL. Familiarity with multiple transport modes is valuable.
3. Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic is highly valued.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with data and analysis.
5. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification.
