Position Title: Category Head

Location: Dubai

Reports to: Head B2B - GCC

The marketplace business would ensure that sellers can sell on the Styli platform. The E-Commerce business would ensure that sellers can sell on six other platforms across GCC, by becoming a seller with Styli. We want to find ambitious selling partners, who align with our vision to scale across markets, and we are looking for the brightest category managers, who can manage key categories that our selling partners / brands operate in, by trading them across the Styli marketplace and other platforms across GCC, maximizing revenue per seller and helping them expand their business in the GCC.

The Category Head will be responsible for managing the demand creation across multiple platforms, including our own and six others. This role will focus on trading, pricing, and collaborating with sellers to ensure a competitive and attractive product offering. Category Head will also oversee Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the product categories, ensuring a diverse and competitive product selection.
  • Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Collaborate with sellers to negotiate pricing, promotions, and product availability.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to remain competitive.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
  • Work closely with the planning team to support promotional activities and campaigns.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience by maintaining high standards of product quality and availability.
  • Oversee Account Managers, ensuring they successfully sign up and manage brand partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
  • Utilize customer insights and feedback to refine category strategies.
  • Train and mentor account managers to ensure they are effective in their roles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience in category management, preferably in the fashion e-commerce industry.
  • Highly data driven with strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of ecommerce platforms and marketplace dynamics.
