Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic, data-driven, and passionate Category Growth & Marketing Manager to lead the growth and performance of our Beauty category. In this role, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance customer engagement, grow market share, and maximize sales performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including buying, onsite, CRM, performance marketing, creative, and brand partners to build and execute powerful campaigns and growth levers across the category.

Category Growth Strategy:

  • Develop and execute category growth plans focused on increasing revenue, traffic, conversion, and customer retention.
  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities within the beauty assortment and customer journey to drive actionable insights.
  • Own key business metrics including GMV, sell-through, inventory health, and profitability targets.

Marketing & Campaign Ownership:

  • Lead planning and execution of marketing campaigns across onsite, app, CRM, social, and performance channels.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and brand teams to develop compelling content and promotional strategies for category visibility.
  • Work with brand partners on co-branded campaigns, launches, and exclusive collaborations.

Merchandising & Customer Experience:

  • Partner with onsite and UI/UX teams to optimize category navigation, filters, landing pages, and merchandising layouts.
  • Monitor and improve product discoverability, page performance, and on-site conversion.
  • Ensure alignment of customer-facing communication with category goals and brand voice.

Data & Performance Analysis:

  • Leverage dashboards and analytics to track campaign performance, identify customer behavior patterns, and guide decision-making.
  • Regularly review KPIs and conduct post-campaign analysis to optimize future strategy.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to remain agile and proactive.

Key Requirements:

  • 4–6 years of experience in category management, marketing, or e-commerce, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Strong understanding of the beauty market, trends, and consumer behavior.
  • Proven experience driving category growth through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and marketing tools (CRM platforms, CMS, etc.).
  • Creative mindset with a commercial acumen and a passion for the beauty industry.
