Catalog Associate - 1 year contract - Retail

Basic qualifications

• University degree ideally in a technical or analytical discipline.
• 1-2 years of experience in a data-driven business.
• Enthusiasm for the world of technology.
• Strong communication skills and exceptional assertive abilities on all levels, while maintaining your ability to be vocally self-critical.
• A business focused way of thinking and a strong hands-on, results driven mentality.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves to get it done.
• Special affinity and demonstrated skill with numbers, analyses and reports.
• Excellent knowledge in Excel, and database work, with experience in SQL a plus.
• A great deal of personal initiative, creativity, decisiveness and team spirit.

Preferred qualifications

• Superior analytical abilities and quantitative skills. Comfortable with complex financial data.
• Polished communication skills - speaking, writing, presenting and negotiating.
• High threshold for working in an ambiguous, fast paced environment figuring it out and adapting as you go.
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development.
• Comfortable with hands-on management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in catalog processes / procurement processes such as placing PO, working on lead time.
• Proficient in Excel.
