A leading airline company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an Aircraft Technician to perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will hold a valid aircraft maintenance license and have at least 5 years of experience in an aircraft maintenance environment. Synopsis
As an Aircraft Technician, you are responsible to perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects and to ensure safety of flight operations
Accountabilities
Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
Ensure maximum attention is given to on time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
Develop oneself and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the companies ethos
Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective.
Education & Experience
Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAO B1 licenseacceptable for conversion as GCAA CAR-66. or Minimum Basic EASA66 B1 or GCAA CAT A).
Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent and5 years of experience in an Aircraft Maintenance environment
