Job Description: This job holder is responsible for casting welding and repairing casting defects.

Should have a good knowledge of material types and welding materials and processes.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Should be able to work independently without any supervision.
2. Thorough knowledge of casting, cutting, welding, and quenching.
3. Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
4. Set up components for welding according to specifications.
5. Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
6. Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
7. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
8. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Qualifications: ITI/Diploma

Experience: 2-5 Years
