We are looking for an exceptional Cashier to join our Luxury Brand in Mirdiff Mall, Dubai. As a front-line ambassador, you will play an integral part in the growth of one of the region’s leading luxury and fashion companies, Al Tayer Insignia.

About The Role

To be responsible for all cash / credit transactions involving movement of goods to and from the shop, offering customer service of a high quality in order to maintain proper accounts and safe custody of cash / cheques & other related documents.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Receive cash or any other authorized modes of payment from customers, issue receipts / bills against their purchase, reconcile cash / credit receipts with sales figures and prepare daily cash summary report for submission to the accountant.
  2. Be responsible for the safe custody of cash received and / or other relevant documents and deposit the cash / cheques in the bank every day with a view to carefully protect the company funds.
  3. Answer phone calls & customer queries in a professional manner to offer efficient customer service and enhance the company's image.
  4. Monitor the use of petty cash, authorize payments for only approved items or emergency miscellaneous purchases and submit accounts periodically to the Store Manager / Deputy Floor Manager for verification & sanction in order to prevent misuse of funds.
  5. Keep count of customer traffic into the shop and compile relevant information on a daily basis.

Education / Experience

  1. High school qualification.
  2. 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar field.
  3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. High level of personal integrity.
  5. Computer literacy.
  6. Pleasant personality and good grooming.
  7. Customer service oriented.
  8. Highly organized with attention to detail.
